New Yorker Deli & Pizzeria

Garlic Chicken Pasta

It's FriYAY night dinner at New Yorker Deli & Pizzeria! If you haven’t been to this local gem, you are missing out on some serious flavor for some serious value. Two people can eat there and eat well for under $30. This spot is so popular with the locals that if you don’t arrive before 5:30, you’ll be waiting in a line out the door!

I almost always order this garlic chicken fettuccine with onions, mushrooms, sundried tomato, and spinach tossed in a rich garlic cream sauce. The pasta is sauced so generously that leftovers are just as delicious the day after warm or cold. Every once in a while, I switch it up and order the muffuletta instead (served cold not warm🍸); I think it’s better than City Grocery in New Orleans!

Luke, like me, is torn between his two favorite menu items every time we visit. It’s either the Reuben sandwich which we think is the best in town or the Twin Towers sandwich which is basically a Reuben with pastrami added on. How can you go wrong?

The staff at New Yorker Deli & Pizzeria are some of the greatest people and have been working there for years; I think that says a lot about an establishment. Some of them even seem to recognize us, now; or at least the same menu items we order together every time we go...LOL!
