Baby Eggplant

I’m still painting and cooking Italian! An eggplant’s shiny skin makes the dark vegetable surprisingly colorful to paint because the skin reflects colors from the surrounding environment. And the resulting symphony of purples is accented beautifully with the bright green stem end. Purple and green has been a favorite color combination of mine since I was a child!
