Her First Glimpse

Her First Glimpse is a painting of the same outdoor cafe as The Sidelong Glance but from a different angle and with a different girl. The Dharma Blue cafe is one of my favorite places in historic, downtown Pensacola. I wanted to paint a chance meeting in a place where romance was inevitable. So, I purposefully shifted my palette toward pink, lavender, and blue to infuse the the mood with romance.
